We've just published our Environmental Impact of Chemical Products guide with the Chemical Industries Association It provides an introduction on: - why organisations in the chemical sector are using LCA, - how they are using it to lower emissions and - the relevant regulatory frameworks to be aware of. It also includes a case study on our work with Croda developing a bespoke LCA tool to perform cradle-to-grave assessments that helps identify where Croda's products provide environmental benefits. https://lnkd.in/dd4FZn3d #LifeCycleAssessment #LCA #Scope3 #Sustainable #SustainableChemicals

This year’s ChemSec ranking, released today, demonstrates that the biggest chemical companies: Are making only slow progress on switching to sustainable chemicals (see Table 1); Continue to rely overwhelmingly on the production of hazardous chemicals instead of safer alternatives (Table 2); Notable exceptions to this overall picture demonstrate in practice that another path is possible (Table 3, page 3). #ChemScore is the only independent ranking of companies producing #chemicals, and their efforts to transition to safer alternatives. Since its launch in 2020, the index has established itself as the industry benchmark. https://lnkd.in/eD7_rsym
