Importance of Prioritising Food Security Policies in South Africa 🇿🇦 Research have shown that, South Africa is one of the main destinations for migrants across Africa. As the immigration rate continues to increase. South African population is expected to rise, increasing the demand for food. Food security problem has a deeper historical roots in developing countries. Therefore, agricultural policies of food production must be given priorities.

He was supported by Dr Richard Fergusson, Gerrit Marais and Dr Harrison Kojwang, all from FSC Africa to expand discussion on various issues he touched on. Empowering Women in Burkina Faso: The Laaguem Taab La Panga cooperative, with over 500 women shea butter processors, has doubled their income through the REAL program. Advancing Early Warning Systems in Senegal: The EWAC project has completed data collection in Kaffrine to integrate complex risks into early warning systems, enhancing food security and climate resilience. https://lnkd.in/grjN2J2h 3.
