Speaking as a reporter myself, I can confirm all seven suggestions he makes, but especially appreciate numbers 4 and 5: --First, I may well cover your news at a show if I have to walk a long way and then figure out where the heck your booth is in a giant expo hall, but if you propose meeting someplace easier, your odds of getting coverage will go up. --Second, sending me briefing info in advance of the interview helps me make optimal use of our limited time together, rather than spend most of it reviewing the basics.
