Microsoft is still looking for a product manager and you should send a loom video pitch if you have not heard back from them yet. You can and should steal my Loom Video Pitch Script to send to hiring managers in my online Skool community here. There are a few benefits to sending a Loom Video Pitch instead of just applying or sending a LinkedIn follow-up message. Always start your pitch off by referencing you have read the job description and letting the hiring manager know…. “After reviewing the job description, it seems to me and I could be wrong that you are looking for a product manager to help with x, y, and z and as you can see from my resume, I have x, y, z experience.” Now go back to the hiring manager’s LinkedIn profile and throw in a few messages in your pitch that can tie you to them such as common school, interests, and/or mutual connections. A bonus tip I can offer you is HIGHLIGHT in bright yellow the relevant resume description bullets you have for that particular role to position yourself as a real expert. I have more detailed scripts and videos in my Skool! https://lnkd.in/gCsMZ-Ab See you in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gCsMZ-Ab Don’t be late to Skool! https://lnkd.in/gCsMZ-Ab PS You always want to reference in your Loom video pitch the job description, the hiring manager's LinkedIn profile (which we scraped for you in our Airtable), and your resume. In addition, referencing any relevant side project would be extremely help to differentiating yourself from the plethora of candidates all trying to compete for the same job you are. Don’t give up. You are always just one application and one interview away from landing your next product manager job.
