Everyday I try to 1️⃣ Put my reputation on the line. 2️⃣ Prove that I know what I’m talking about and deliver on my promise. 3️⃣ This way my reputation will never need to be re-established. It’s only fair that your clients should question your expertise. If you’re constantly posting content but never backing up, your audience will put you in a box. Prove to them why you’re a specialist, reassure them that you are a professional and know exactly what you’re talking about. The online definition of reputation is: 🅰 Overall quality or character as seen or judged by people in general. 🅱  Recognition by other people of some characteristic or ability has the reputation of being clever. With the amount of uncertainty in our economy, it’s better to know that I have been doing this for over 25 years and can prove it. I thrive knowing that my reputation is built on exceptional customer service. I would say reputation, quality and planning are everything if you want to survive in any industry. ☢️ Let's talk about Toxic Niching ☢️ ⚡️ It's the thought that you *have* to be so laser-focussed in your offer that nothing else will do. 💰 It's the idea that if you have more than one income stream you're not doing enough in your 'main business'. 📝 It's the presupposition that if your main source of activity isn't what you 'said you would do' you aren't doing enough of what counts. 😫 It's the concept that you are not enough if you're not raking it in with one use of your skillset. To this, my friends, I call bullshit. 👉 You can do anything you want in your business because it is YOUR business. 👉 You can focus however you choose, but you can call it making more time for what matters to you rather than 'forming a niche'. 👉 You don't need to be bound by any traditional expectations of success because you're the one making the rules. 👉 You can work for someone else's business as well as your own (and have multiple 'gigs' within it) because you're a smarty-pants and have diversified what you do! 💡 The real niche is you. Your skills; how you want to use them; when you choose to be available for certain projects; how you uphold your boundaries. Now get out there and do it.
