Opinion: Maximising Engagement for New Banknote Series Launching a new banknote series involves a lot more than just unveiling designs – it's about capturing the public's attention and ensuring understanding of key features. Holding people's interest is a challenge, but strategic timing makes all the difference. ATMs offer a prime opportunity for engagement. Imagine showcasing the new series nationally, then reminding a member of the public at the ATM individually and then they are holding the physical notes moments later. It's a wonderful transition from virtual to tangible, generating curiosity and a connection. This approach, as part of a wraparound public education campaign, could transform transactions into meaningful and informative interactions, making each encounter an opportunity to educate and engage.
