To me - it has an absolutely ancient assessment and development model. We are not attracting the brightest and most talented graduates because we do not develop Fee Earning potential for Graduates and we offer very few in house cresh or child care allowance schemes. All pretty much standard in other professions. Don't get me started on prayer rooms either! we are supposed to be a profession moving very much to equality and inclusion - seems to be quite a lot of smelly lip service to me. Being openly bisexual male at least we have LQBQT+ in some.

3moThe value of experience and cross-sector understanding in surveying is immense, as it allows professionals to navigate complex projects with a comprehensive perspective. Experienced surveyors can foresee potential challenges and provide more accurate assessments, while cross-sector knowledge enables them to integrate best practices from different industries, leading to innovative solutions and more efficient project outcomes. This combination enhances the accuracy and value of the survey, benefitting all stakeholders involved.
