There's something strangely relaxing about Sunday mornings. While previously I used to be lost in the dreamy world and wake up late, but from the past three months, I find myself drawn to a different kind of craving and I pull myself out of the bed quite early, embark on a short ride, not to some fancy brunch cafe, but to a simple chai tapri (stall) by the highway. It's not about that stall serving the best tea in town, no! But this ritual is about a sense of gratitude and personal fulfillment. It's about the simplicity of the experience. Just a cup of lemon tea with sabja seeds, a book, and the open sky – that's all it takes to unwind, reflect, and reconnect with yourself amidst the quiet tranquility of the surrounding. As I sip my chai and flip through the pages of the book, all those noises and expectations of everyday life seem to be fading away. And what began as a planned 30 minutes experience morph into two blissful hours by the time I become conscious. So, the next time when you're looking for a Sunday morning escape, consider ditching the crowds and heading for the open road.
