As a pure battery guy, I’m constantly inspired by the transformative potential of new technologies. Recently, Robin Zeng, Chairman of CATL, shared a bold and thought-provoking prediction: “Sodium-ion batteries might replace over 50% of the LFP market share.” We don't know how long this process will take, but this statement might reflect a major shift in the battery landscape. Here are some major advantages to take into account: Sodium is one of the most widely available elements, reducing concerns over supply chain bottlenecks.
