Grave Destroyer Log #2 The game Grave Destroyer is a very simple game with not much of a thought behind it. However, the process of making the game in itself is very fun, thinking of mechanics, logics and graphics that make sense with the overall aesthetic of the game. In the game below the objective is simple, i.e. stop zombies from reaching the center of the screen by using the sniper rifle. As I created these mechanics, I also started to think about other parts of the game like end screen and some UI to make the game look a bit more polished. Because thinking and implementing all of this was fun I was able to take my first step to make a game. If anyone reading this is thinking about making a their first game, just start working on it as some parts of game development can only be learned when our skills are put into practice. Construct 2 is a very simple and beginner friendly platform for people who want to start game development, It requires no code but you can still implement some complicated mechanics. In my experience with this platform is perfect for making very simple games or making a prototype for a game in a very short amount of time. It uses simple drag and drop to to make game mechanics while giving a scene and layer system to get people introduced to basic but very important game design skills. Crazy Shooting https://lnkd.in/dytz_Gvd In the game Crazy Shooting, you will be fighting against various blocks of different sizes. You will see the game field at the top of the screen, on which blocks of different sizes will be placed, gradually moving down. Each block will have a number on it indicating the number of hits required to destroy it. At the bottom of the field, there will be a ball. Clicking on it will bring up a dotted line, which you can use to calculate the trajectory of your shot and make it. The ball, hitting the blocks, will cause damage and destroy them, and you will earn points in the Crazy Shooting game.
