(This is the first page of Patrick Lencioni's book, "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team".)
We have used this framework for a couple of years within our Director team. We are hoping to do a refresher soon because we have some new faces. At first I thought it was “too simple”, however I have found power in simple lately!
One of the best books regarding Trust within teams i have read this year is the book "The five dysfunctions of a team" it does a great job highlighting how much the lack of trust in a team can damage the entire workflow and efficiency within a team on all levels in the organization. So if you have not read it I highly recommend giving it a read!

A brilliant post from Darren at Independent Adventure highlighting the potential benefits of thinking outside the box when it comes to managing your team.
Nurturing enthusiasm, cooperation, positive team relationships and productivity within the workplace is crucial, but it need not take place solely in the workplace.
By getting outdoors and taking on fun, objective-based challenges together, the benefits to your team will be immediately obvious.
These are benefits that your team can take back into the workplace with a renewed vigor and esprit de corps.
The result? A positive workplace built upon cooperation, teamwork and trust gained through shared experience and a happier, supportive and more productive staff team.

Building a team is like building a house; each brick plays a vital role in the structure's integrity.
When every team member contributes, they strengthen the foundation of success. Conversely, neglecting individual efforts weakens the team's cohesion, leaving gaps that hinder progress.
Recognizing and valuing each contribution fosters a culture of collaboration and pushes the team toward its goals.
💡 What do you consider an important factor in nurturing a good synergy within a team?
Collaboration and transparency are the two utmost key components within a team. The team leader has to be transparent in order to attain trust from team members.

Responsibility = Accountability = Ownership.
A sense of ownership is the most powerful weapon a team can have.
Accept responsibility for your actions, be accountable for your results, and take ownership of your mistakes.
Came across some people who easily dodge responsibilities, but do not care bout the consequences.
The first team
People when asked about teams name various teams.
A team is defined as a group of people with different skills and abilities collaborating to achieve a goal.
Has it ever occurred to you that there is this one team who people neglect which is the first and most important team.
That team is You.
You are so important that if your team is not okay every other team you find yourself in will be a struggle.
Take care of Team 1.
Ownership means a team feels accountable.
Ownership means a team can innovate on how to achieve goals.
Ownership means a team has capability and agency to pursue goals.
