But what I didn’t realize is that too much advice can leave you more confused than confident. I remember one incident where we were debating a major strategic decision for ZEVO’s expansion. I reached out to multiple mentors, peers, and even industry experts for their input. The result? A dozen conflicting opinions and a complete paralysis in decision-making. That’s when I learned a tough lesson: not every piece of advice is right for your specific journey. The only way forward is to trust your instincts, gather context-relevant insights, and stay true to your vision. I’ve since become more selective with whose advice I seek—and ZEVO is stronger for it.
