A great article from Jen (Gilhoi) Veralle of ZERO PROOF COLLECTIVE. "In 2024, there are so many great corporate gifting solutions and companies offering customization and fulfillment — gifts that are not rooted in alcohol consumption. Aligning your gift of choice with your brand and a social good mission can be a good starting point."
Seeking to give gifts to your employees or clients this corporate gift-giving season? Alcohol through the ages has been held in high regard. In our culture, alcohol is associated with celebration, rewards, and a specialness. Not only in our personal lives, where we socialize with friends and family, but in the workplace. Perhaps this year, Corporate America, we can consider the negative impact of corporate gifting that centralizes alcohol and instead gift an inclusive, healthier offering as token of appreciation this holiday season and beyond. Read up on all the reasons to not gift alcohol in my share here on All Inclusive Corporate Gifting. https://lnkd.in/gFWsJnPi As you revisit gifting and if you're drawn to gifting a thoughtful, crafted beverage experience, see Equal Parts Cocktail Company. I'm excited to be collaborating with founder Simeon Priest as their cocktail kits don't include alcohol, rather, they're celebratory, shareable and anyone choosing not to drink can enjoy nonalcoholic beverage excellence! PS. they also offer virtual and in-person cocktail classes that can be nonalcoholic focused. 🍹 🥃 🎁 #corporategifting #bestcorporategifts #workplaceculture

BEWARE: Even the simple act of enjoying some Holiday Cheer is a potential minefield. Here are some tips to avoid trouble while trying to relax and have some fun: If you’re attending an office holiday party or business gathering, watch what and how you eat and drink. You’ll be observed during the event. According to a survey from Challenger, Gray & Christmas, nearly two-thirds of the companies hosting parties will serve alcohol. To limit your liquor consumption, ask for a non-alcoholic version of a mixed drink, or toss a slice of lemon or lime into a cocktail glass of sparkling water. It looks festive, and no one needs to know. One—or, at most, two—glasses of the “real thing” should last you the whole evening if you alternate with nonalcoholic beverages. Pro Tip: Keep your glass in your left hand so that your handshake isn’t cold and wet. If you think you’ll be starving by the time you get to the party, snack beforehand. (That helps you handle any alcohol you may consume, as well.) Avoid salty or greasy foods that make you want to drink more. Do eat foods high in carbohydrates or protein which help absorb the alcohol. Don’t pile your plate with goodies. At a cocktail-type party, you may need to eat standing up while juggling your plate and glass. Circulate throughout the party and return to the buffet periodically for a manageable serving of food. And, as your mother told you, don’t speak with your mouth full! Have you ever suffered a refreshment-related catastrophe at an office party? Share the juicy details in the comments! #officeholidayparty #careeradvice #holidays2024 #careeradvancement #holidayparty For more insights into job search strategies, the legal industry, and the California legal job market, follow SeltzerFontaine LLC, and connect with me and ring the 🔔 at Valerie Fontaine.

21% of Christmas parties this year will be alcohol-free 🎅🎊 Data gathered by event booking platform, Togather, shows that workplaces are transforming celebrations from centering around alcohol, to centering around unique experiences that bring colleagues together. Driven by Gen Z and health trends, companies are making work parties more inclusive and looking for alternatives to traditional booze-ups. And alcohol companies are responding. AB InBev’s CEO, Michel Doukeris, spoke about their push to non-alcohol beer, highlighting how it’s more flexible and appealing for social occasions. For years, non-drinkers have cited feeling uncomfortable at work parties when they revolve around drinking. And it can be a barrier to those who do drink but have other commitments - an important meeting the next day, a long drive home, etc. Would you be up for an alcohol-free christmas party? Have you been to one? Read more about it: https://lnkd.in/ejYGmC4V #christmasparty #christmaspartyseason #highanddry #alcoholfree #nonalcohol

IHOP.... International House of Pancakes.... YUM! 🤩 An American classic that never disappoints! Known for its cozy vibes, good food and prices that won’t break the bank, IHOP is the real deal. I fell in love the moment I walked in. I found myself at IHOP so many times on my recent US trip – whether it was for a hearty breakfast or just to enjoy their endless coffee refills. ☕️ But it wasn’t just the food that drew me in… it was the experience. 🙌 IHOP is the perfect example of the Caregiver Brand archetype: a brand all about making customers feel cared for, safe, and valued. 💛 From the moment I walked in, I was treated like family. The staff made sure to remember my name, ask about my day, and offer that extra bit of care – even during their busy family peak times. Plus, the warmth of their vibe is everywhere: from the cozy, autumn-themed posters to the smiles on every server’s face. 🧡 IHOP… It’s a big high five from me! 👋 When are you coming to Australia? . . . . . . #customerpersona #socialmediastrategy #businesscoach #businessmentor #businesstips #businessgrowth #businessleaders #businessowners #smallbiz #smallbizowners #womeninbusiness #growyourbusiness #branding #customerexperience

We believe in providing options for everyone, whether it's enjoying a mocktail, or another nonalcoholic beverage. It's all about ensuring that everyone can feel comfortable and have a great time without feeling excluded. Let's raise a glass to inclusivity and responsible choices! 🎉 Celebrating Our Company’s Unofficial Holiday: "Workplace Snack Appreciation Day!" 🍩 Today, we gathered not just to celebrate our latest project success (shoutout to Team Awesome!) but also to honor the unsung heroes of our office: snacks. Yes, you heard that right! In a world where deadlines loom and meetings multiply, snacks have been our steadfast companions. From the heroic donut delivery on Monday mornings to the courageous chips that rescue our afternoons, we salute you! Here are a few highlights from our celebration: 1. Snack Olympics: Who knew a race to the break room for the last cookie could be so intense? We’ve officially crowned the “Cookie Ninja” as our champion. 🏆 2. Taste Test Challenge: We tried to determine if pineapple on pizza is a valid snack option. Spoiler alert: it’s still up for debate. 🍍🍕 3. The Great Snack Debate: Chips vs. Chocolate—who will reign supreme? In a shocking twist, the granola bars staged a comeback, but let’s be real, they’re just the healthy snack pretending to be part of the party. 4. Snack Awards: Best Crunch, Most Likely to Disappear First, and the coveted “Snack of the Year” award went to… drumroll … the classic potato chip! 🎊🥔 So here’s to our team, our projects, and the snacks that keep us fueled! Remember, every great achievement starts with a great snack. Cheers to more victories (and more snack breaks) ahead! #CompanyCulture #SnackAppreciation #TeamAwesome #WorkplaceFun #SnackGoals 🍪🥳
