💨⚠️⛈️Alert from Marin Health and Human Services: As a powerful storm approaches Marin County, Marin County Health and Human Services (HHS) is activating the Severe Weather Emergency Shelter (SWES) to provide temporary shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness. The activation will begin ahead of the Christmas storm. Please share this information. 🔴Emergency Shelter Details: 📍Location: Marin Health and Wellness Campus, 3240 Kerner Blvd, San Rafael 🗓️⏰Dates & Hours: The shelter will open on Monday, December 23, at 5 p.m. and close on Tuesday, December 24, at 6 a.m. ▪️Eligibility: Any individual experiencing homelessness can seek shelter during this time. Sheltering for families is also available. To request accommodations, email HHSSWES@marincounty.gov. ▪️What to Bring: Personal belongings may be brought to the shelter for overnight stay.
