RIVEON recognizes the urgency of an impending electricity crisis Elon Musk issued an urgent warning about an impending electricity crisis at a conference for the American energy industry. With electricity consumption predicted to triple by 2045 in the USA, the energy industry is facing enormous challenges, with electric cars and increasing computing-intensive AI applications as a huge part of the rising demand. The rapid increase in electricity consumption coupled with the simultaneous expansion of green energy sources can lead to instability in the power grid worldwide. RIVEON recognizes the importance of a stable and resilient power grid. Our data centers play a crucial role in stabilizing the grid now and in the future. The growing importance of battery storage systems as a solution to relieve the grid is also becoming more and more apparent. In both the private and industrial sectors, these systems play an essential role in coping with the rising demand for electricity. Musk's warnings underline the urgency to act now. The future of energy is in our hands. Do you want to be part of it and make a change in the energy sector? Elon Musk said that Solar Power Plants (PLTS) could be a solution to the global water availability crisis. Although it still requires extensive research, Elon explained that Solar Power Plants have the potential to provide cheaper and more effective new renewable energy for the seawater desalination process to provide clean water. "We continue to make breakthroughs in desalination efficiency and I think we have done it," he said. "We have a good water future and I think a good sustainable energy future is also ahead of us," the Tesla Inc. and SpaceX owner and CEO said in his opening remarks at the 10th World Water Forum in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Monday, May 20. Desalination, the process of removing salt from water so that it becomes clean water that can be consumed by the public, has been regarded as an energy-intensive and expensive process. However, Elon said that this process can be implemented effectively and cheaply if it uses solar energy. Elon also said that the cost of storing electricity in batteries has dropped dramatically by tenfold in the last five years. He said Solar Power Plants can generate about one gigawatt (GW) per square kilometer (km) of surface solar radiation. "That's quite a lot." He stressed that harnessing this energy "can solve a lot of the world's energy needs" and help provide clean water around the world. "Desalination, as most people know, has become very cheap now. The availability of clean water is just a matter of energy and water transport," he said. https://lnkd.in/gdSWqux3 click #subscribe #water #bali #baliindonesia #elonmusk #elonmusknews #Elon #musk #technology #tech #solarenergy #solar #solarpanels

I like Mr Musk, but finance, math and physics are against him on this one. battery storage costs $1MILLION per mwh. So after building and installing the solar panels, we need to install the infrastructure, which will cost as much as the panels or more, then we need 100% backup for the other 18 hrs of the day the panel are producing far less energy. so we would need to build enough solar capacity to cover 4000 terawatts of power in a year. but the panels only produce about 15 percent of that, so we would need to install solar capacity to not only cover 4000 twh, but more to cover maintenance down time, massive transmission losses, and the average cloudy day ratio. then we need to multiply that already HUGE number by about 4 to produce power at off solar peek times, then all that power has to be stored in batteries, at the cost of 1m per mwh. not only is this not financially possible it is not production possible. we could not dig up enough materials and minerals nor would we have enough workers to do all this before the panels and batteries themselves degraded and had to be replaced. bottom line, solar is five times more expensive than nuclear and the entire life cycle produces far more carbon. build one nuclear plant and you get consistent clean power for 50, 60, or even up to 100 years of clean power that doesn't care about the wind or the Sun. it's also the safest energy. so safest most reliable and cheapest. using musk's words it's a no-brainer. https://lnkd.in/ggrywaWs

As we previously reported, the main difference between Powerwall 3 and its previous version is its power capacity. The energy capacity remains at 13.5 kWh, but the power capacity is now rated at 11.5 kW and Elon Musk claims it has a peak of 30 kW. This new power capacity enables single-Powerwall installations as the power capacity was often the bottleneck.

Elon Musk talks Solar Power in New York… Last week, Elon Musk discusses the power generating capacity of the sun while discussing the possibility of space travel. However, as CEO of Tesla - the US’s leading EV & Batery Storage provider, Musk is heavily invested in the solar industry. 🔋 New York State is the 8th largest producer of Solar power as per Solar Energy Industries Association, with over 11,000 New Yorkers working in the industry. In the coming years, as The Empire States solar capacity grows in line with the whole industry, there is no doubt that Musk’s net worth will sky rocket as Tesla stock increases. 🚀 Are Musks public endorsements of solar power sincerely about making humanity multi-planetary, or is he aiming selfishly working to increase Tesla’s long term share price? 📈 #solar #solarpower #elonmusk #tesla #renewableenergy #sunpower #solarenergy
