Are you exploring how to build Web3 Decentralized Applications (DApps) using AWS? This architecture combines serverless technologies, decentralized storage, and blockchain to create scalable and secure DApps. Here’s a breakdown of the architecture: - Amazon CloudFront (Step 1) CloudFront acts as a global content delivery network, serving the DApp’s frontend from an Amazon S3 bucket. This ensures that your application loads quickly for users worldwide. - Amazon S3 DApp Frontend Bucket (Step 2) The static files of your DApp’s frontend are stored in Amazon S3, making it scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. CloudFront retrieves the static content from this bucket. - Amazon API Gateway (Step 3) All API requests from the frontend pass through Amazon API Gateway, which routes them to the serverless backend. This step helps manage API traffic and ensures secure communication. - AWS Lambda DApp Backend (Step 4) The DApp’s backend logic runs on AWS Lambda. This serverless compute service allows you to execute code in response to API requests without managing servers, providing flexibility and scalability. - Amazon Managed Blockchain (Step 5) The core of the DApp lies in blockchain transactions, which are processed by Amazon Managed Blockchain. It connects the application to blockchain networks, facilitating secure and transparent transactions. - Blockchain Network (Step 6) The DApp interacts with external blockchain networks (such as Ethereum or Hyperledger Fabric), providing decentralized functionality. Benefits of this architecture? ✅ Scalability – Includes AWS services like Lambda and CloudFront to handle traffic and scaling automatically without managing infrastructure. ✅ Blockchain Integration – Easily connect to decentralized blockchain networks using Amazon Managed Blockchain for secure and transparent transactions. ✅ Serverless – Reduces infrastructure management with serverless technologies, allowing developers to focus on writing code rather than managing servers. Points to consider: ➖ Ensure the API Gateway and Lambda functions are optimized for low-latency responses. ➖ Secure your API endpoints and blockchain interactions to protect against unauthorized access and malicious transactions. stoked today to announce our acquisition of Vektor as we continue to build out the most advanced hosting service for web3 applications, we strive to build web3 managed services that traditional cloud providers never will with vektor moving over and integrating exclusively on nirvana cloud, web3 developers will have access to a suite of multichain tools across data querying and on-chain execution functions, vertically integrated in our bare metal cloud with the lowest latency and performant RPC nodes. Live: 15+ chains 50+ protocols > BUY(500, ETH, USDC, POLYGON, SLIPPAGE=0) > LEND(100000,USDC,COMPOUND_V3, ETH) > ALERT(PRICE(WBTC)>74000, NAME=“BTC ATH”) Reach out to learn more and get a demo. Nirvana Labs + Vektor: Advancing Onchain Infrastructure We're excited to announce that Nirvana Labs has acquired Vektor, bringing additional multichain APIs to the most advanced web3 hosting service! As developers know, reliable hosting infrastructure and multichain APIs are crucial for successful blockchain projects and managing costs. We're excited to be adding additional web3 managed services you'll never find on traditional cloud providers. Now developers will be able to access a host of querying and execution tools paired with our low latency, reliable, low cost RPCs run exclusively on our bare metal cloud. Benefits for developers: - Applications can query, compose, and execute activities across multiple blockchains and venues with speed and simplicity - Bring multichain functionality for developers across onchain data collection and protocol execution. - Foundations can accelerate their DeFi ecosystem's adoption by unlocking a full suite of DeFi read and execution endpoints that web3 applications and crypto funds can instantly access. If you're an IT leader, you have to understand the real truth about crypto, blockchain, and decentralization when making long term decisions about moving your platform to the blockchain. And that is, pretty much all of crypto is NOT decentralized or truly on the blockchain the way ICP is. I'm going to use Ethereum in this example because everyone thinks it's decentralized and the best for smart contracts, or it's layer 2's are. But, as I mentioned, all of crypto is not really on the blockchain. Search Google and ask, "is ethereum decentralized" and you'll get a ton of articles about it. For example from Coin Telegraph: https://lnkd.in/ejkB9sYk How do we know it's true? Well, even Amazon says on their website, it runs Ethereum nodes and it has tutorials on how to do it. Google also says on it's website it runs Ethereum nodes. So, even the 2nd largest crypto is not really decentralized. It relies on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GC (Google Cloud). Internet Computer does not rely on any third party platform. It runs it's own nodes. And nodes are run independently. AWS or GC could go down and ICP and all of it's applications will still work! The next important point to note about ICP is that it's the only blockchain that runs AI and anything else you want on it. You can't run a website on ethereum. You can't run a crypto exchange on ethereum (or any of it's L2s, for that matter). You can't create awesome games on ethereum. You can on ICP! And this brings me to the next point, you don't need a security team and firewalls to host your site on ICP! Imagine how much money you will save not worrying about the payroll for a security department to manage your enterprise website??? Not worrying about getting ransomware or getting hacked. Now, you need some security knowledge when coding and against phishing or social engineering hacks, but, the money saved on ICP vs AWS or GC or Azure is massive. Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase said, "On chain is the new online". But, what he didn't mention is that the only on chain protocol where you can be fully on chain, not partially, is ICP (Internet Computer Protocol). And before I end this, people might ask, how about Solana? Isn't it the "ethereum killer". Nope, it has the same issues I just mentioned. You can swap ethereum for solana in this post. ICP is the superior protocol.
