𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 Excess phosphorus in water increases the risk of harmful blue-green algae. This is why managers of water reservoirs, lakes, and swimming areas do everything they can to prevent it. Monitoring plays a crucial role in this process. Dennis Kooijman (Terracrawler and I-AM Center) has developed an innovation that makes monitoring significantly more efficient: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗱𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿. This with the support of CircInWater, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and with the support of Water Alliance. In this film, produced by Bakkers Blik Video Productions, he shares his story.

Week 2 – A Series of Firsts 📃 Each day, I find myself settling more comfortably into my role at UNITE. This week started with an adrenaline rush as I took on the task of initiating a public tender. While I have experience with tenders as a contractor through AlphaLink Engineering GmbH, this was my first time on the other side of the table, seeking contractors. I'm grateful for the seamless cooperation within our team, which helped us efficiently tick off the initial steps in the process. 🌍 Midweek, Gregi and I attended our first fund closing (kudos to AENU) coupled with an office warming event. It was an excellent opportunity not only to connect with the broader ecosystem but also to delve into some heated discussions. A special thanks to Ferry for his candid insights on emission reduction versus climate change mitigation, and for introducing me to the handprint concept. I’m confident that the funds raised will be a valuable investment in our planet’s future. 🎭 Additionally, I had my first one-on-one with my new colleague, Marie Westreicher. We had an open discussion about our project's need for visibility, profitability, and sustainability. What stood out to me was our ability to navigate through disagreements on details while maintaining a unified vision on the vast potential of serving the innovation ecosystem. If the coming weeks are anything like this one, I’m all in. ❓ Weekly Question: Anyone else with a stimulating debate this week? #unite #innovation #ecosystem #berlin #climatetech

A great insight into producers' barriers to ag tech adoption. Watch now!
Business Development Manager & Ag tech leader, NSW Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development
⭐“at the end of the day, new technology either needs to save you money, make you money or untie your time – if it doesn’t do this its pretty hard to adopt it”. ⭐Always remember your end user and their perspective….This is probably the most salient advice to the ag tech industry and aspiring start ups. ⭐️To learn more about the “producer viewpoint”, check out the latest video from the NSW Farms of the Future program. This program focuses on producer adoption of tech. It is expanding in 2024 to combine producer education, an extensive ag tech catalogue and demonstration hubs at key DPI research stations around NSW. ⭐Shout out to NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development video stars Clare Belfield and Ailie Webb and all our farmer participants.
