Megvii also exhibited the T800 model of AMR, combined with the pallet four-way shuttle to form a one-stop storage and picking solution, demonstrating seamless logistics automation capabilities. That robot-automation projects are not necessarily characterized by big investments or long planning & realization phases were impressively shown by my colleagues in the US. The implementation of two ONExia palletizing COBOTs at Arvato‘s site in Louisville in December 2023, took from design/planning, supplier evaluation to PO and implementation less than 6 months, for a reasonable investment. These self-programmable palletizing COBOTs are the next cornerstone on Louisville‘s road to a fully-automized inbound process for loose loaded containers (together with Boston Dynamics Stretch coming Q2). Furthermore this project is leading the way for 2024 in our robot-automation strategy, to add more of this „off the shelf“-solutions to our „Warehouse Automation Toolbox (WAT)“, in order to make robot-automation faster available and more inexpensive for our stakeholders. #automation #robots #cobots #wereonit #welovetechnology #wemakeithappen #futurewarehouse
