How can you make a Sales-led SaaS business more resilient? I explored this in my interview with Ruban Phukan, CEO of GoodGist, an AI veteran, multi-patent holder, and serial entrepreneur. Here are my 5 highlights: 1 - Focus on a real problem first (no matter how small or big), and technology second. 2 - Aim to deeply understand the problem, and then generalize your approach to solving it. 3 - Bet on building a platform instead of a dedicated solution, so you can expand to other use cases faster. 4 - Mask the complexity of the technology behind the scene by exposing a very simple interface. 5 - Verticalize or niche-down your GTM even though you have a horizontal platform to avoid diluting your value proposition and confusing end-users.
