Denmark is betting BIG on biochar and regenerative agriculture 🪱 We are proud that Rockstart will play a part 💜 after receiving grant funding for regenerative agriculture focused on biochar! The Danish government has pledged €1.35 Billion investment to promote and accelerate the widespread adoption of biochar as part of a wider comprehensive work program and strategy. The intention is to reduce 1.8 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030 (see link below). We’re excited to share that Rockstart is among the recipients of funding from the GUDP - Grønt Udviklings- & Demonstrationsprogram. This grant, part of DKK 169.5 million allocated to 24 innovative projects, will boost Danish innovation, knowledge, and market development within regenerative agriculture with a focus on biochar.
