𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 (and why it’s key for long-term success) Looking back, one of the key success factors of Blooming Founders was that we were the first-ever community for female founders in London's tech hub. Back then in 2015, startup events with only female speakers were unheard of. Being the FIRST and ONLY gave us an incredible advantage—our events were sold out, and traction came quickly. But here’s the truth: being the first isn’t enough to sustain long-term success. It can get you attention, but it’s what comes next that really matters. Differentiation isn’t just about standing out for the sake of standing out; it’s about being the ONLY. It’s about serving your ideal customers in a way that reflects what you do best—and is not done by anyone else. To build a brand that truly stands out, focus on these three things: - 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 – Understand their needs better than anyone else. - 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 – Double down on your strengths and unique skills. - 𝗕𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 – Create value in a way that competitors can’t easily replicate. (More on this lesson in a separate post) In a nutshell, being first is great, but if you can’t be that, be the ONLY. — ♻️ Repost if this resonates with you 👋 Hi there, I’m Lu. I share my learnings about business and how to do your best work. Follow me Lu Li for more insights like this.

Silicon Valley is all about ECOSYSTEM. It’s not just about great ideas. It’s about the support system around those ideas—the people, the connections, the resources. That’s what turns startups into giants. At Re.Brand Academy, we’ve built our own version of this. A support ecosystem that helps innovators in STEM thrive. One of the most important elements? Our buddy system. From day one, every member gets a buddy. But we don’t match people randomly. Oh no. Before we even start, everyone takes a test to uncover their strengths, passions, and working styles. Then, we pair them with someone who complements them—a perfect match. And let me tell you, the results are mind-blowing. Take Hanga Katreiner 🛰️ Michael Fuerk Begum K. for example. They met in our last cohort. Fast forward to today: they’re working on a groundbreaking project right in the heart of Europe—Germany. I won’t spoil too much (they’ll reveal it soon), but let’s just say… They went from a Zoom meeting to presenting to the Ministry of Germany. It’s like a modern-day garage-to-IPO story—but better (because it has a soul ❤️) This is why I believe so much in ecosystems. 👉 On Re.Brand page, you’ll find more tips on building your personal brand, boosting confidence, and creating a strong network. Follow us to stay inspired!

One of the best chats ever! Thanks, Thomas Sjöberg & Daniel Nackovski from SaaSiest, one of the biggest SaaS events in the Nordics and soon Benelux area Thanks, Bonanza Studios | UX Design & App Dev + Behrad Mirafshar, for the intro 😎 The most beautiful last question from Daniel is: Are you an AC MILAN fan? RECAP: 🚵♂️ We discuss Daniele's journey from being an architect to embracing entrepreneurship and eventually founding a product management and networking community. Despite initial failures, this venture gained traction, growing to 2,000 members in Berlin, driven by a focus on quality and building a community independent of social media. 🤑 The conversation touches on the challenges of finding investment, the importance of dedicating full-time to a startup, and the complexities of organizing events like SaaSiest. 🔗 We explored the potential for collaboration and the value of building a community that supports learning, sharing, and connecting talent with opportunities. Concluding with the significance of personal connections, shared interests, and the human aspect of building a community.

Ever wished you could teleport to a place where everyone just gets your entrepreneurial struggles? It gets lonely. And if you're working solo, that makes it even harder. Sometimes you just want to speak with someone who can relate. So, imagine a digital world where you can race go-karts with a startup founder from Canada, brainstorm with a creative genius from Australia, and pet a virtual cat while chatting about productivity hacks with someone in New Zealand? That's exactly what's happening at the Divergity Lab Digital Meetup! It's like a global coffee shop for entrepreneurs, but with avatars and sweatpants totally allowed 😉. We're talking: - Speed networking (the fun kind!) - Idea-sharing that might just spark your next big thing - Chill hangouts with people who understand the "I forgot to eat lunch because I was in the zone" life Curious? You know what to do ✍️ https://lnkd.in/gbBG3TGr See ya there!
