Collision repair education just got a big boost! The Collision Repair Education Foundationon Foundation (CREF) has awarded $536,000 in Benchmark Grants to 80 schools across the U.S., supporting programs that prepare more than 4,000 students for entry-level collision repair roles. From major contributions by partners like State Farm, LKQ Corporation, and General Motors to first-time supporters like the Wesco Group, these grants aim to equip the next generation of technicians with the tools and skills needed to succeed. We're bringing back synchronous (recorded) instruction to all online open-enrolment courses. We know learners want flexibility, but they also crave connection, with classmates and with their instructors. CARS uses a deceptively “simple model” to enhance student learning improvement through collaboration among faculty, administration, pedagogy/curriculum experts, and assessment specialists: "Weigh Pig" (assess students), "Feed Pig" (make programmatic changes), and "Weigh Pig" (re-assess a new cohort of students to measure the degree of improvement).
