Lithium-sulfur chemistry will be the next major advancement in rechargeable battery technology. They are significantly lighter than lithium-ion batteries while delivering comparable energy. It is nice to be involved in doing that! What intrigues me even more is the potential to manufacture these cells using only local raw materials. Sometimes, that feature is more important than performance alone.
