Walter Q. Taylor, FAIA - 11.11.1936 - 11.6.2023 A great architect has gone home. Walter was my mentor during my first internship at KBJ Architects in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the greatest influence on my life and early career and he is the reason I eventually opened my own firm. I can still hear his voice standing over my shoulder instructing me, always pulling a sharpy out of his pocket to point at something I was working on. Rest well, my friend. We’ll take it from here.
