Don’t struggle alone. As I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey, I formed the habit of sharing only the good things with my loved ones. Closed a deal, made some money, formed an amazing new connection, learned a new skill. But my struggles, mistakes, and failures I mostly kept to myself. I felt like I had to shield my family from worrying. Now I realize I was actually shielding myself from their disappointment. But as I grew, especially when things got really tough, I learned the importance of opening up and sharing my struggles with them. The biggest reason this helped was that not only were they not disappointed in my mistakes, they were supportive of my growth. They had my back, and that’s all I needed to push through and keep going. This has become one of my most powerful #ToolsForHardDays. Sharing your burden with someone you love can lighten the load and provide new insights. Seeking support from loved ones is a sign of strength, not weakness. Don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes, a simple conversation can provide the support and clarity you need. Who do you turn to for support in tough times? #ToolsForHardDays #OvercomingDoubt #Resilience #MentalStrength #EntrepreneurLife #MindsetMatters #StayInspired #PersonalGrowth #EmotionalWellbeing #RiseAndGrind #DailyInspiration #FindingStrength #ReflectAndGrow #SuccessJourney #SupportSystem #TalkItOut #EmotionalSupport

AMom of 3 to who I am now, "The sound of my children's laughter echoed through our home, a symphony of joy that motivated me to work harder." Imagine the sound of your children's laughter echoing through your home, a symphony(movement) of joy that fills your heart with warmth and #happiness 😊🙂 As a #mother of three, I cherish those moments, but my journey to becoming who I am was not without its #challenges. As I juggled diapers and deadlines, my mind raced with the thrill of building a future. The smell of freshly brewed coffee became my sanity-saver, fueling my early morning planning sessions. I recall the feeling of #doubt creeping in like a cold mist, but I pushed it aside with the warmth of #determination. The sight of my future plans, scribbled on a napkin like a treasure map, guided me through the uncertain terrain of #entrepreneurship. And then, the taste of triumph! Landing my first client was sweet, like biting into a juicy strawberry. Through the ups and downs, my children's laughter remained my constant source of inspiration. It reminded me why I was working so hard – to build a better future for them. Today, I am proud to have created a business that not only succeeds but also allows me to be present for my children's milestones. My story is a testament to the power of #resilience, #determination, and the unwavering support of loved ones. So, let the sound of your children's laughter be your driving force, your #reminder that with #hard-work and dedication, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Inspired? Share your own story of resilience, or feel free to share this with others, go out there, and do it. The world needs you and me! Have a great one. @kiidensuper #lifejourney #kiidenannet #mom #entrepreneur

Motivation Monday: anniversary edition. 15 years ago today, we got married on a beautiful, rainy morning in St. Croix. 🌺 I remember every detail of that week like it just happened yesterday. Which is pretty amazing considering all of the adventures that we’ve been through since then! We never envisioned our path unfolding the way that it did, but we’ve been steadfast partners through every up and every down and I’m forever grateful for our bond. In 15 years, we have: 🏡 Moved four times 😓 Lost three parents 🐕 Raised three Shiba Inus 📊Opened two companies 🧡 Retired (Mike) 🤸🏼 Left the “corporate world” (Me) 👧🏼 Welcomed our super fun granddaughter 💵 Answered “no” countless times to the question “would you like separate checks?” Here are some of the life lessons that I’ve learned and applied as a business owner too: - Take thoughtful risks. When you’re strongly committed, the risk is worth the reward. - Communicate openly and candidly. Work hard to stay on the same page about your goals and priorities. - Be patient. With others and with yourself. - Laugh. Have fun. Find humor in the mundane tasks and the daily routine. As a business owner, it’s key to ensure that your spouse/partner/family are on board. You don’t own a business in a bubble, it affects your family too. In fact, it’s one of the first things that I ask about when I meet with aspiring entrepreneurs. Need some help exploring how owning a business might fit into your life plans? Let’s connect! #smallbusinesscoach #businesscoach #entrepreneur #businessowner

Last week was a turning point for me. I adore Razzle. I love him for his intelligence, great cuddles, independence, cheeky nature, and positive impact on my health and mental well-being. However, raising Razzle comes at a cost. He takes up more time and brain space than I ever imagined. Whether it's my tendency to go all in or just Razzle himself, I haven't had the focus I prefer in my business or, actually, just in general. The reality is that having a furry shadow constantly waiting for instructions has added extra stress to my life. Last week, I realised I needed help as the stress of Razzle, my business and life was getting to me. A member of the Guide Dog community picked Razzle up at 6:30 am the next day for a playdate with their pup, giving me a whole day to focus on the business and have meetings where Razzle didn't play a major role in them. My concerns were addressed by his Development Officer, and within 24 hours, the stress had lifted enough for me to continue my raising with renewed vigour. So, what's the business lesson? A problem shared is a problem halved. I was overwhelmed with decisions, but having someone else take the lead provided much-needed relief. In business, we can often feel like we're alone in the journey, and that can lead to spinning wheels. But that can all change with just one person offering clarity, holding our hand, or listening to our challenges. That one conversation can make that phase of the entrepreneurial journey just a bit smoother. When things get overwhelming, I encourage you to reach out to your peers, someone in your network, a mentor, or even me. This simple act can take away the overwhelm and get you back on track, focused on what's most important. #InspiredOutcomesConsulting #BusinessConsultant #BusinessAdvice #BusinessInspiration #BusinessGrowthStrategy #BusinessLeader #BusinessCoaching #Solopreneurs #SmallBusinessCoach

You’re Setting GOALS but Missing Your Anchor! I see it everyday and I love you so here’s the truth…⬇️ Pleaseeeeeeee stop setting your goals based on some BS you see online. You may think you want the cash, the trips, the goodies when what you NEED is peace, joy and happiness - you need goals ANCHORED in your VALUES. Here’s why⬇️ On average 92% of people fail to achieve their New Year’s Resolutions or other long term goals. What makes those 8% different? ✨They ANCHOR their goals in their VALUES and they have learned how to properly set goals. ( if you aren’t reaching your goals this is going to be a HUGE HELP) ✨Freedom, Integrity, Connection, and Security -are values. When your goals are anchored in your values motivation and momentum are MUCH EASIER! The next step is NOT working harder.❌ It’s more focus on VALUES!💝 It’s energetically the difference between “I’m trying to build a business online for fun and some spending money” vs. “I’m building this to create FREEDOM for my family because we are currently being CRUSHED by debt” The work - is hard. Working SO hard for some fun money feels - meh. Are you really going to sacrifice your fav TV show, getting together with friends, invest money and time to get a few bucks? Instead, Working hard to create FREEDOM for your family so you can see your kids instead of being stuck at work all day - HOLY WOW get outta my way! THAT is a goal with a strong FOUNDATION in your VALUES In my free masterclass - ANCHORING YOUR GOALS IN VALUES, I go over how that mental shift helped me become a successful entrepreneur for the past 8 years with 2 Six-Figure businesses ✅DM the word: VALUES And I’ll send it right over! As an immigrant with entrepreneurial dreams, I severely struggled with imposter syndrome. I still do when self-doubt gets the best of me. One of the bravest decisions I've ever made was starting my company during a financial crisis with my one-year-old in tow, on the brink of being a single mother. I was constantly battling self-doubt: "Do I really belong here as an entrepreneur? Am I good enough to build something of my own, or was this all a mistake?" Starting Lush Decor Home meant I had to learn everything from scratch—from understanding market demands and managing finances to convincing stakeholders to believe in a vision that was just a dream. Every decision I made came with a hefty dose of fear: • Fear of failure • Fear of not being taken seriously • Fear of not being supported along my journey But as I grow, I'm learning to embrace these uncertainties as part of the entrepreneurial process. Yes, I am different, but that doesn’t make me an imposter. It makes me unique. And that individuality is my greatest asset. I share my story to reassure others in a similar situation that it's okay to feel out of place sometimes. It's okay to feel like you don't have it all figured out. Your struggles, your victories, your experiences; they are a testament to your strength and determination. So, the next time you feel imposter syndrome creeping in: Take a deep breath, remind yourself of the hurdles you've crossed, the battles you've won, and how far you've come. Celebrate your achievements and know that you've earned them. You are not an imposter; you're a dream weaver. Thanks for reading! “What Happens When You Wait for Life to Come to You?” I used to think life would eventually work itself out if I just waited long enough. Maybe opportunities would fall into my lap, right? WRONG. If I’d kept waiting, I’d still be broke, overworked, and stuck trading my time for pennies on the gym floor. But I didn’t wait. I grabbed life by the balls and took control. Fast forward: this year alone, I’ve traveled to 10+ places while making $200k a month consistently. Life didn’t hand me this. I went out, faced the fear, and BUILT IT. And I’m not the only one. Let me tell you about a few people who stopped waiting and started taking control: • Patty: She stared fear in the face and is now doing $70k CASH a month. • David Valley: He didn’t hesitate. Within his first 30 days, he landed 5 high-ticket clients. • Bruno: In less than 30 days, he generated $5,700 and is just getting started. They didn’t wait for a “perfect moment.” They didn’t sit there hoping their lives would magically change. They took control, followed a simple system, and changed their entire trajectory. Now, let’s talk about YOU. What’s it costing you to stay stuck? To keep waiting? To settle for the comfort of a 9-5? Let me be blunt: the 9-5 life is for quitters. For cowards. For people who are okay with mediocrity. Not you. If you’re here reading this, I know you’re different. You have something inside you that knows you’re meant for MORE. But knowing it isn’t enough. Thinking about it won’t get you there. Waiting sure as hell won’t. You need a system. A blueprint. And, most importantly, the balls to take action. Stop letting fear or “timing” hold you back. Because the longer you wait, the more it costs you—in money, freedom, and the life you KNOW you deserve. Are you ready to take control? Comment “SYSTEM” and I’ll send you the exact blueprint to go from stuck to unstoppable. The choice is yours. #EntrepreneurMindset #StopWaitingStartDoing #FreedomLifestyle #OnlineCoaching #PTLegends #takeactionnownotlater

Want to give you (and your 🥰 loved ones) a great headstart in 2025? Frank confession: I’m a natural giver, and have been taken advantage of (like many of us) in the past…. 👉Several years ago all this came to a head and I reached rock bottom. 🚀I embarked on a journey of personal growth to change the paradigm. 💔So many people who have had bad experiences shut down their hearts. They withdraw from the world, or even repeat the behaviour that was shown to them: abandoning their values to be one of the bad guys too. ❌That will never be me. 💜💖💕I enjoy every relationship and moment of connection. Some lessons I learned through those hard times were: 🎧Listen to your intuition. If you’re in distress, there’s a reason for it. There will often be someone who’s looking to gain at your expense behind that. ⛔️Never agree to unfair terms that put you at risk. In business this includes: undercharging, allowing scope creep, getting paid exclusively in arrears. 🪢Give everyone the rope with which to hang themselves. In other words: give value first - until others get comfortable and drop the facade. Don’t rush into premature commitment, because people’s true colours always come out over time - and then you can “prune the dead wood”. We are “spiritual beings having a human experience” and all our lessons make us wise! Do you have any tips for protecting yourself or your loved ones from harm? And if so, what are they? #personalgrowth #entrepreneurlife #thesmartconnector

Gratitude and Resolutions ✨ Is there a better way to start the New Year? 🌟 Yesterday I was contemplating some of the people to whom I owe thanks. 👵 People I cannot really thank in person: My gran and my mum, both of whom aren’t with us. My dad, who I see rarely, and after serious medical issues, hasn’t the same ability of comprehension he once had. Dave Pentland, who was my right-hand man on a construction site for many years and became a very good friend. Dan Solley, my oldest friend, who I miss dearly. 💛 And there are some that I can: My wife Andrea, who has put up with and embraced the erratic lifestyle I’ve subjected her to. My elder son Felix, who is now my business partner. My youngest Huxley, who is growing his own wings nicely. Sue, without whom my business life would be even more of a mess. Obviously, I could go on for a while here… The point is that we are not alone. 🌍 From the people who do us wrong, to the people who give us the best advice, they all affect us. It is our job to make every affect a good one. And a community of like-minded people helps us realise that we are… #StrongerTogether 💪 Then, I was thinking about how I could help my children more, and the phrase “burning the wick at both ends”. If you have teenage children, or you’ve ever been young, I’m sure you’ll understand. 😅 Well, we don’t burn the wick at both ends. We burn it at night. 🌙 And we should wax it during the day. 🌞 Otherwise, we will soon run out of wick to burn. So if you are writing your to-do list for the year… Your resolutions… Make them with the intent of waxing, of building yourself up, so you have the ability for more fun and enjoyment. 🎉 For a little help, take a read of my blog for TableNetwork that was posted last week. https://lnkd.in/e3m8W4Tr My guide to resolutions that work. 📝 It’s not as simple as writing a list, you know. What are the ways you succeed in keeping to resolutions and forming habits? 💬 #TableNetwork #NewYearResolution #EntrepreneurshipJourney
