Did you know that TUF-STRAND SF provides concrete floors with remarkable early-age cracking resistance? Discover how TUF-STRAND SF enhances concrete floors: • Replaces steel for crack control and limited structural use • 3D reinforcement boosts abrasion, fatigue & impact resistance • Industry research backs macrofibers for joint spacing • Higher tensile capacity lessens shrinkage stress, enabling wider joint spacing • Factors such as low water-to-cement ratio and proper curing boost durability, curbing cracks #euclid #euclidchemical #stoncor #concrete #concreterepair #concreteconstruction #construction #concretesurfaces #concreteprotection #masonry #cementindustry #constructionindustry #portfoliomanagement #architects #operationsmanagers #construction #assetmanagers #quantitysurveyors #facilitiesmanagers #portfoliomanagers #maintenanceengineers #maintenancemanagers

💡 This article provides additional guidance on the use of rendering on different substrates. It is important that all workmanship carried out during construction be completed in accordance with the relevant tolerances. The article covers: ◾ General requirements (all substrates) ◾ Rendering directly onto masonry outer leafs to cavity walls ◾ Render cladding systems onto timber / steel framed structures ◾ Direct rendering onto Insulated Concrete Formwork Structures (ICF) ◾ Rendering on External wall insulation systems (EWI or EWCS) ◾ Rendering below horizontal DPC level – all cases (i.e. within 150mm of the adjacent ground level) https://hubs.ly/Q02QzLL50

Congratulations to Royal Systems Inc. for acquiring this beautiful Knudson by Scottsdale KSE K35CG1 powerpack/cassette roll former combo for resilient furring channels and for continuing to trust our technology. Off to Ontario, Canada goes this brand new K35C from our Denver facility! Cold-formed steel framing is so essential to the construction of any building that you can't avoid it even in wood, concrete, or masonry structures. Furring channels, U-struts, corner beads made of light-gauge steel are irreplaceable components of a quality attachment of non-structural finishes. Furthermore, resilient furring channels play an essential role in performance enhancements of the building envelope, such as in sound transmission. Learn more about (resilient) furring channels from Steel Framing Industry Association here: (https://lnkd.in/dyQrezvm). It is furthermore hard to imagine a high-quality corner finish in wall and ceiling board assemblies without the use of a corner bead cold-formed steel angles. Did you know you can quite easily make your own corner beads, (resilient) furring channels, U-channels, and much more using Scottsdale's powerful KSE K35CG1 rollformer? K35C is a flexible and versatile system consisting of a powerpack unit that can house any number of roll forming cassettes for fabricating the specialized light-gauge steel shapes. View a few samples of some of the possible furring channel configurations offered by the KSE K35C platform at these links: https://lnkd.in/dmenKEhb https://lnkd.in/dbbkx4er https://lnkd.in/dQt4NpXm Call us at 1 (888) 406-2080, write to us at sales@scottsdalesteelframes.com, or visit https://lnkd.in/dsbYKRx5 to find out more and to see what other systems from Knudson Specialized Equipment (KSE) series your framing or construction can benefit from. #rollforming #rollformers #resilientchannel #drywallframing #curtainwallframing #lightgaugesteel #steelframingmachine #prefabricatedsteelframing #Buildsteel #steelframing #metalstudframing #coldformedsteel

We all know that an insulated solid wall construction method like ICF is incredibly strong thanks to its concrete core. But did you know, it’s possible to make it even stronger! Add rebar into the block before the concrete pour and you can easily use the build system for areas which need additional strength such as basements or cantilever structures. #BuildingStrength #ICF #ConcreteWalls https://lnkd.in/ecEAERvG
