𝐈 𝐅🤬’𝐝 𝐔𝐩 I made a mistake, and I want to tell you about it. I have 28 years of professional sales experience. I have literally forgotten more big sales successes than many people have in a career. I wrote a best-selling book that is a blueprint for relationship sales. I have 50k global students who have rated my courses 4.7 out of 5. I’ve hired, trained, and mentored hundreds of salespeople who worked for my companies. And yet I still fail… There are no Masters of sales or business. We are all on a journey. I broke one of my own cardinal rules this week. I let emotion get in the way of doing great discovery. I was so excited about my ability to help this prospect that I let my emotion make me the star and not the prospect. Am I a failure? No I am mature and experienced enough to recognize, reflect, and make adjustments. Honestly, that’s why I think I’m a great sales leader and consultant. My experience gives me confidence and self-assurance, but I’m not too arrogant about self-reflection and growth. We’re all on the same journey. I’m in the game, just like you.
