Using bold design elements and sustainable materials, we crafted packaging that stands out and aligns with Enjoy's commitment to quality and environmental responsibility. Each component was designed to reflect the brand’s core values and enhance the consumer experience. CANNAHELP Designing the packaging and brand strategy for Cannahelp's comfrey and hemp oil salves was a meticulous process focused on nature and healing. A Pineapple. Really? Now, what has that got to do with hospitality branding? Today, I came across a video of a British gentleman who was talking about how 'the pineapple' used to be a very rare and exclusive commodity in the late 16th century. Apparently, it was used as a classic symbol by sea captains to signal their safe returns from their voyages by placing one exotic fruit outside their homes. This would invite people to share their stories. Soon, this fruit became a popular host accessory, that people even began renting one to demonstrate their appreciation for their guests and impress them. This historical tidbit got me thinking about the power of hospitality. It's more than just providing a service; it's about creating memorable experiences. Just like the pineapple, a warm, welcome and personalised service can make a lasting impression. As brand designers, we have the opportunity to craft experiences that resonate. By understanding the nuances of hospitality, we can create brands that are not just functional, but truly timeless. Today, the pineapple continues to inspire. It can be through a subtle reference in a logo or a bold statement in a pattern, this fruit can elevate a brand's identity by acting as a reminder that great design isn't just about aesthetics; it's about storytelling. What do you think? Can you see the pineapple making a comeback in modern brand design? Let's discuss! #hospitalitydesign #branding #designhistory #branddesign #customerexperience #designthinking #brandstorytelling #brandstrategy

𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗔 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗨𝗘 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗨 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗. In the hospitality sector, understanding the distinction between a 'brand' and 'visual identity' is essential. A true brand goes beyond logos and color schemes; it encompasses the entire guest experience—food, service, ambiance, and more. This holistic approach is what turns guests into loyal regulars and passionate advocates. It's crucial to remember that while visual and verbal identities matter, they are only a part of the puzzle. What truly defines your brand are the experiences you offer. When guests share their experiences, they talk about the food, the service, the ambiance—these elements are your brand. If you get them wrong, there is no brand. Logos, typefaces, color palettes, and social media strategies are important. But in hospitality, brands stand or fall on the experiences they provide. Nail that part of your brand, and you’ve got a hit on your hands. To truly succeed in the hospitality industry, we need to rethink our approach to branding. Here are five reasons why holistic branding is essential: 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Your brand is the sum of all guest interactions, from interior design to service quality and food. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆: All elements of your brand—visual identity, service, ambiance—must work together seamlessly. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿: Establish a clear brand identity from the start. This guides menu development, service, interior design, and visual identity. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: Appointing interior designers without a clear brand is a recipe for disaster. Ensure all aspects of your brand point in the same direction. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆: A strong, consistent brand experience turns guests into loyal advocates who spread the word. For success in hospitality, your brand must be at the heart of your business strategy. Think 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱. Everything else will follow. #hotels #branding #hospitality

I think we’ve all worked on projects we believed were excellent solutions, only for them to never see the light of day for one reason or another. Here’s an interesting read about a McDonald's redesign that never got the green light. I wonder what the brand would look like today if they had gone in this direction? 🍔 #Redesign #Design #Branding

“How to Use Art in Branding and Retail” Predictable spaces don’t just fade into the background. They diminish the perception of everything within them. For high-end brands, this is not an option. Every detail of your environment speaks volumes about your products, your values, and your vision. When a space feels uninspired, it tells a story of outdated ideas and missed opportunities. Contemporary design and art installations transform the narrative. By introducing elements that intrigue, captivate, and immerse, your space becomes more than a backdrop. It becomes part of the brand experience. Think of Henrique Oliveira’s dynamic, layered installations. They demand attention, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impression. These are the qualities that today’s discerning audience seeks in luxury brands. High-end design is about more than aesthetics. It’s about using space to create a moment that reflects the uniqueness and sophistication of your brand. Installation art, in particular, requires a higher level of understanding. It challenges conventions and evokes deeper intellectual engagement. By doing so, it creates an inherent hierarchy, positioning your space as one designed for those with refined tastes and cultural awareness. It establishes your brand as an elite destination, appealing to clients who value exclusivity and innovation. When customers step into a space that feels like an extension of their aspirations and identity, they feel understood and engaged. A space that speaks to their lifestyle and intellect elevates the brand and its perception in their eyes. Spaces like these turn brands into cultural symbols, offering more than just products they offer experiences that resonate with a select, elite audience. #LuxuryBrandDesign #ImmersiveSpaces #ArtAndBranding #DesignForTheElite #CulturalIdentityThroughDesign

There’s so often a missing link between a brands identity/online presence and the physical space. So many incredible, trail blazing brands miss the mark when it comes to translating this into their “Brand Home”. It’s not easy to create buzz around a launch. If your online customers are signing up to the waitlist in droves anticipating the opening or refurb of your premises; you better be sure it meets expectation. When they set foot through the door on launch day will the space convert them into a paying customer. More than that, when they experience your brand space for their service will they be a repeat customer, a cult follower? When your Brand Designer and Interior Designer work together then that crucial link is there. No brand touch point goes unaccounted for. Introducing ‘Forte’, a power collab from Brand Interior Agency and Nicole Roberts. More details from this branding and interior collaboration to come…
NICOLE ROBERTS | Brand Strategist & Designer on Instagram: "Where beauty, strength and community collide.
