Designing an effective food banner is crucial for several reasons: Attraction and Engagement: A well-designed food banner grabs attention quickly. It should feature appetizing images of food or beverages that make viewers stop and look. Information Communication: The design should convey key information such as the type of cuisine, special offers, or promotions clearly and succinctly. This helps potential customers understand what's on offer at a glance. Brand Representation: A banner represents your brand visually. Consistent use of colors, fonts, and logos helps reinforce brand identity and recall among customers. Call to Action (CTA): Effective banners include a clear call to action, prompting viewers to visit the restaurant, order online, or inquire further. This directs potential customers towards making a decision. Target Audience Appeal: Understanding your target audience helps in designing banners that resonate with their preferences and desires. For example, using images and language that appeal to health-conscious customers for a salad bar. Differentiation: In a competitive market, a unique and well-designed banner can set your food business apart from others. It can highlight what makes your offerings special or different. Versatility: Banners can be used both online (websites, social media) and offline (physical banners, posters), making them versatile tools for marketing and promotion. Impact on Sales: Ultimately, a well-designed food banner can significantly impact sales by attracting more customers, increasing visibility, and encouraging repeat business through effective branding and messaging. By focusing on these aspects, you can create food banners that not only look appealing but also effectively communicate your offerings and drive customer engagement and sales. Steak, cheese, what else do you need? Creating mouthwatering content in the studio for Emmi Group But why is food styling so important when considering your brand content? 👋 First impressions are vital on social media. Well-styled food looks more appetising and attractive, grabbing users' attention as they scroll through their feeds. ⭐️ Consistent food styling helps establish and reinforce a brand’s identity and values. It can convey whether your brand is about luxury, comfort, sustainability, or innovation. ❤️ Aesthetically pleasing images are more likely to be liked, commented on, and shared. This increases engagement rates and can help extend the organic reach of posts. 🎥 Food styling allows brands to tell a story. Whether it’s the freshness of ingredients, the artisanal process, or the cultural background of a dish, styling sets the scene for these narratives. 💪 In a crowded market, brands that present their products in an appealing way are more likely to stand out and attract consumer interest over those that don’t invest in high-quality visuals. 😋 Beautifully styled food can evoke cravings and inspire viewers to buy the product, visit a restaurant, or try a recipe, directly influencing sales and brand success. 💯 High-quality images can enhance the perceived value of the food and drink offered, suggesting a commitment to quality at every level of the brand. Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Stampede Culinary Partners, a standout brand known for its strong convictions on quality at every scale and commitment to sharing research-based strategies. Their openness significantly enhances their brand strength. A Little Case Study: Schaefer assisted Stampede in launching groundbreaking research on the commercial sous vide market—a sector they're pioneering. The study uncovered that industries like #restaurants, #cpg, #healthcare, #hospitality, and #entertainment (including movie theaters and concerts) are increasingly adopting sous vide techniques. This approach helps save time and alleviates the shortage of skilled kitchen staff. Sous vide benefits include achieving perfect 'doneness' for steaks, guaranteeing safety for chicken, and speeding up service times for eggs like those ridiculously good Starbucks egg bites. This research involved over 1,000 executives, directors, and purchasing managers from leading names in the food industry, making it the largest study of its kind. The research has attracted significant attention, featured in over 800 news outlets and industry publications and it's getting more every day. This exposure has broadened their brand awareness and educated decision-makers on the benefits of sous vide (improving customer experiences and the bottom line). The coverage has opened up numerous marketing opportunities too, including over 1,000+ high-authority backlinks to their website, downloads from potential clients, and many relevant remarketing possibilities. Working with Stampede has been incredibly rewarding, and their leadership in the sous vide market is remarkable. Their example highlights the effectiveness of strong brand positioning coupled with a commitment to transparency and knowledge sharing. They're leaders in every sense of the word. -------------------------------------------------- TRUTH 🧠 : Research Leads, Markets Follow -------------------------------------------------- If you think a study like this could help your brand. 🍰 **Baking a Cake vs. Crafting Your Brand Story** 🍰 Have you ever tried to bake a cake, only to have it turn out *nothing* like the picture in the recipe? 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️ Believe it or not, building a brand story isn’t so different from baking a cake. Just like baking, creating a compelling brand narrative takes the right ingredients, precise steps, and sometimes a few attempts before it’s “just right.” Here’s how: 1. **Start with the Right Ingredients** 🧂: In baking, missing ingredients can lead to a flat or tasteless cake. In branding, it’s similar—skipping foundational elements like core values, mission, or audience insights can leave your story feeling flat. Always start with the essentials! 2. **Follow a Recipe (but don’t be afraid to adjust!)** 📝: Recipes are guides, just like branding frameworks. But every brand is unique, and just as you might tweak a recipe to suit your taste, your brand story needs flexibility to reflect what’s authentic and memorable about *you*. 3. **Learn from the Flops** 💥: Not every cake comes out perfectly, and not every brand story strikes the right chord on the first try. Embrace the failed attempts—they reveal valuable lessons! Each iteration brings you closer to a stronger, more authentic story that resonates. 4. **Consistency is Key** 🧁: A great cake depends on consistency in texture and flavor, just as a great brand story requires a consistent message across every touchpoint. Whether it’s a post, a tagline, or customer interactions, consistency builds trust and recognition. 5. **It’s All About the Experience** 🎉: Ultimately, the magic of both a delicious cake and a powerful brand story lies in the experience they create. The aroma, the taste, the look—each adds to the cake's charm. For brands, every interaction should add to a memorable experience that keeps customers coming back. So, the next time you’re crafting your brand story (or attempting a new recipe!), remember: every “failure” is just a step closer to something amazing. 💪✨ #Branding #Storytelling #Marketing #BusinessDevelopment #LessonsFromBaking #PersonalGrowth #MarketingTips #LinkedInCommunity

What a Mini Charcuterie Board has to do with your branding! ⬇️ I have an old school friend, Kelly, who is building a really solid lifestyle brand called Oh So Kel. She is working her socks off and seeing success, and I’m really proud of all she is doing in her field. But honestly, I don’t really know anything about lifestyle and fashion. I have lived in our house for 6 years and still haven’t put any photos up on the walls. I like 1940s/1950s fashion and couldn't tell you what's in the shops right now! (And I probably wouldn’t like it anyhow. 😆). But I was on TikTok the other day and saw a very cute mini charcuterie board and thought of Kelly. So, I sent her the link, as I thought she’d appreciate it. She replied to let me know that she had already got the idea pinned to her Pinterest board and would be sharing the concept with her audience in the coming months. Great minds? Perhaps. Great branding on Kelly’s part. Absolutely! Fancy party food is not my thing, but her branding is working strong enough that I sent her a video that was already on her radar. This is what branding can really help you with. Consistency in messaging, visuals, copy and style can help your audience to identify with your brand, and that brand awareness takes repetition, but it is essential. So much so that they will think of your brand in their day to day life, even when not looking at your posts. We want our audience to be so aware of our brand that they think of us, even if what made them think of us wasn’t our content. Just like the mini charcuterie board! Action step: Look at your messaging, visuals, copy and style. The graphics or photos you choose, the items you have in your videos… is there a consistency there? Would there be enough elements that your audience can say what they might associate with your brand? P.S If you’re curious about the charcuterie board, check it out ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/efC6w_YX Also, go and check out Kelly’s branding work in action at https://lnkd.in/eAUZ6p4u
