I’d like to open up dialogue about a common challenge in recruitment while inviting other recruiters to share their experiences and insights.  It’s the issue of candidate engagement and how the potential candidates don't seem to read the specifics outlined in job description requirements or responsibilities, which can lead to misalignments later in the process. My team will highlight in bold the very basic specifics such as location and it still doesn't seem to help this issue. I'm curious to know if you've encountered similar situations? Have you found it frustrating when candidates overlook key details in job postings? If so, how have you approached this challenge? 🔍 Are You Recruiting Blind? 🔍 During my visits with clients this week, I couldn't help but notice a common frustration among them. There are several agencies bombarding them with CVs, without an understand of their business or their people!  Why do recruiters do this? 😵💫 Recruitment isn't a game of chance; it's about finding the perfect fit for both the employer and the candidate. Blindly throwing CVs and hoping one will land is not just ineffective; it's disrespectful to both parties involved. It's time to move away from the "throw sh** and hoping it will stick" mentality.
