Two thoughts: 1) Synchrony Bank's study on Affluent Market spending notes: consumers not only want to support brands that share their values, they'll not buy from those that don't. First time I've seen the stick rather than the carrot. V much in Rothy's sweet spot, don't you think? Brilliant idea, hoovering up plastic bottles and turning them into shoes. 2. I have more than a dozen pairs of Rothy's. And clearly –no one buys the second pair, if they don't love the first!

People like shoes that are confortable that are on trend with construction materials ans colors. Stories about recycled etc. only matter is what i listed above is on target

Rothy's are thee BEST shoes I have- cute and comfy and always the first I pack for a trip- plus day to day goodness! Great company, mission and shoes. Et voila! :)

Circularity will be an SOP for every company over the next few years - our data at The Cool Down shows a huge interest in "how to get rid of my stuff" as a funnel / gateway into further climate actions. The companies that make it easy and rewarding to participate in the circular economy will win the future.
