Rotonium’s Post

One day soon, the same will happen with quantum computers, enabling the resolution of much more complex tasks driven by Big Data and AI. #EdgeQuantumComputer #quantumcomputing #photonics

Fifty years ago, the idea of a computer small enough to fit on a desk was visionary. Watching archival footage like the one here reminds us of how much can change in a single generation. And the pace of change continues to accelerate. Back then, “miniaturization” was a word laden with possibility, an emblem of progress for an emerging technological world. Today, we’re navigating equally transformative frontiers. But the questions raised in 1974 remain evergreen: - How do we balance ambition with usability? - What unforeseen challenges will arise from the very technologies we pioneer? - And, importantly, how do we prepare for innovation cycles that seem to accelerate year on year?
