It offers simplified processes and additional test cases that streamline the certification process for device manufacturers and system integrators. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: ➡️ The first PROFINET devices with #Security Class 1 functionality are now available. ➡️ Virtual device tests make sure urgent customer requests in vPLCs are handled with the expected quality. ➡️ Automated controller tests now use the same system as devices ➡️ A host of upkeep and maintenance measures, such as support for Windows 11 & GSD V2.45 and improvements based on feedback. ➡️ The new GSD Checker V2.45 in addition to the latest GSD specification. Innovation bundles introduce new technologies quickly, independent of the annual cycle. Trial bundles allow internal pretesting, while an active community helps with testing and planning through events like Plugfest. Continued collaboration and funding ensure PROFINET’s future and strengthen PI’s leadership in industrial automation standards. #pi
