Would you give your best? When I stumbled upon Give Your Best on Instagram, I was amagez by the way they went about clothing donation. Put simply, they came up with an idea similar to Nucha App except that there’s no payment involved. Think of it that way, when many charities have to manage stocks, run a charity shop and deal with unsellable or unpleasant donations, Give Your Best supporters truly give their best. I haven’t tried the system yet but it goes like that : -You list on their plaform any item of clothing you no longer wear but that you know still has a lot of life left in them. -Someone in need “shops” it. -You get a message with their details. -You ship the item away knowing 100% it will be worn. How clever is that? For those who want to support Give Your Best but can’t afford to give their clothes away, - Head over to Nucha App - Upload the pile of clothes you haven’t worn for the last 12 months (more than 30% of your wardrobe actually) - select a portion of the proceed you want to donate to them - And keep the rest. When you make a sale, they’ll receive your donation free of charge. And that means FREE. No [*] No limit on the amount you donate. Oh, and you can also : -Make donation -Start a fundraiser to support them or -Buy from them on our platform. I’m told they have some nice pieces already listed. PS : I’m building Nucha for charities, their supporters and circularity lovers. If you are a charity decision maker reading this, don’t wait for Nucha to be a thing before you get your charity listed. Most great things happen when you take a change on innovation. Thanks Sol Escobar Davina Ebikeme and Chloé Dreux for betting on the future of fundraising and circularity. #techforgood
For we all deserve to live with Dignity and a sense of Agency. Last week we welcomed Give Your Best to Nucha. Give Your Best introduced one of the most innovative secondhand platform for they allow folks living in clothing poverty, refugees seeking asylum, victims of trafficking, destitute, with no recourse to public funds, escaping domestic violence or with precarious immigration status to "shop" for free. Want to support the amazing work they do? 1-Donate your clothes directly via their platform. 2-Request a Bestie Bin via partnership@giveyourbest.uk Put it in your premises and watch your team fill it up with clothes they no longer wear. This bin offers a convenient way to give back. By simply dropping off your gently used clothes, you’re not just decluttering; you’re making a difference in someone’s life through giving back choice and agency. 3-Check their page out on Nucha. There you can do it all for them. -Make a donation -Start a fundraiser -Buy from them And if you can't afford to donate your unwanted clothes, well sell them instead and donate a portion to their cause. It's as simple as that. #techforgood

5moThis is really smart. So many people want to do the right thing but also need to make a bit of cash for themselves. This gives people an option in between, love to see this collab! 💡 Jonathan Richards ♻️
