Rowlands Woodhouse Equipment Ltd’s Post

Refurb of two small live bins. The cones had such a beating over the years that, not only did the product hold up in them, they where also starting to split. Two new cones required, as well as a new internal live screw (with paddle at the bottom to empty correctly and top to spread the material). A new internal tube section, gaurds, hatches and outlet duct. This bought the bins back to full working order, and mixed better then ever. Half the battle with the installs is trying to keep down time of the plant to a minimum. Working with the customer and production staff is essential to keep producing as much as possible. #britishmanufacturing #bulkmaterialhandling #petfeed #installation

Serving industry with vibration.

A challenge across many industries is the unloading of bulk solids from hoppers, bins, train carriages, truck trailers, etc. This typically happens with substances that tend to retain moisture and bind together, which reduces flow or movement. Vibration minimises bridging, ratholing and sticking, allowing materials to flow more smoothly and eliminating the need to pound on the side of the container with a mallet or hammer. NetterVibration can help you choose the right vibrators. For further assistance please call +44 1543 278981.

Looks like a good job. 👏🏽 sometimes the problems of rat holing arching and hammer rash can be solved by carrying out flow property testing to understand material needs for hopper and screw design see below:
