📱3 HUGE changes in telehealth 📱 In the past few months, the perspective of telehealth has done an about-face. ↩️ For decades, telehealth has had to deal with restrictions that made widespread implementation difficult, if not impossible. That’s all changing. 👨⚖️ Legal and regulatory barriers have shifted. 👨⚖️ Relaxed telehealth restrictions have been seen in 3 major areas: 💲 Reimbursement 💷 Licensure and 📟 Technology Physicians are being paid the same rate for a virtual visit as they are in-person. Eased licensure requirements have opened up the ability to treat more patients. And the eased restrictions on technology have given physicians and patients more flexibility in how they choose to conduct their virtual visits. 💻 Relaxing the regulations in these areas has eased the friction that has slowed widespread adoption of telehealth and has allowed doctors the freedom to treat their patients safely and effectively.
