I’ve noticed that 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗼-𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆, something you can trim. 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵: 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁. In fact, it’s kind of a big deal. How big? How about Procter and Gamble big. 😮 There’s a reason P&G are what I like to call the “kings of co-creation.” And that reason is the example on why co-creation is so important. Febreze. We’re all familiar with their commercials and marketing. But, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗣&𝗚 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲. They’d skipped the co-creation process in their first round, and had to go back to the drawing board. In the second round, co-creation came into play. They: ⭐ Involved consumers ⭐ Identified their most compelling reason to buy ⭐ Changed their positioning and messaging ⭐ Updated their go-to-market strategy And, voila! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. So, don’t trim or skimp on co-creation - it could mean the difference between Success & Failure. Do you have a co-creation process? Why or why not? How has it helped you bring your product to market? We’d love to know! Comment below! ⤵️ #coiq #podcast #healthtech #digitalhealth #startups #healthcare
