Okay, I admit it. - Juggling family & work from home is HARD! My 91-year-old grandmother outlived all three of her children and ended up moving in with us 2 years ago. 👵 I love this woman! She’s like a mom to me. She sacrificed so much for me over the years. Honestly, most of the best parts of me are because of her. BUT… it can be a real challenge on a day-to-day basis. Especially since my 27-year-old daughter has been out of the house for a long time — I’m used to peace and quiet! Sometimes I forget to lock my office door. I’m on a video call and Granny walks in to tell me good morning and blow me a kiss. 💋 I give her the death stare! Hmm, my door is shut. You know I’m working. I don’t have time to greet you right now. Oh, man. Her face. 😔 She kindly walks out and shuts the door. Then, the guilt train rides in. OMG. I feel SO bad. I think… “She just wants to say hi. Do you really want to put your work over her? ⌛ 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒉𝒆𝒓. ⌛ She won’t be here forever you know.” Ugh!!! The struggle is real.
