The last few days at HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition has been exceptional! The Core Mobile team, including our CEO & Founder Chandra Shekhar Tekwani, have been listening to speakers about a number of topics related to healthcare, but the conversations about the way in which Artificial Intelligence can propel healthcare into the future and help us meet global healthcare priorities really made us think. The Global Healthcare priorities are: 1. Improving access to healthcare 2. Improving outcomes 3. Health equity 4. Climate change Robert C. Garrett Garret from Hackensack Meridian Health dove right into the subject of AI and its potential to scale healthcare delivery to meet the needs of our patients, whose numbers are likely double in the coming years. At Core Mobile, we could not agree more! Our solutions leverage AI in order to improve hospital capacity by 5% - 20% without increasing hospital staff or adding buildings - which is good for healthcare providers, patients and the environment! At the same time, Robert C. Garrett stresses that we cannot forget the importance of the human touch. Humans are at the heart of healthcare and while AI can do a lot to support the work of hospitals and healthcare providers, it cannot replace human intervention. This is why Core Mobile spends so much time at hospitals where it deploys to fit the technology to the people in a way that is most organic and aligns with the workflows already in place. At the end of the day, we agree with this quote by Atul Gawande - the work of healthcare is the work of well-being. “And well-being is about reasons one wishes to be alive.” Core Mobile handles the tech, so that providers can focus on keeping patients healthy with the human touch. #himss2024 #himss

Had a major lightbulb moment during my research on Digital Twins in healthcare this week! 💡 You know that feeling when you're deep into research and suddenly everything starts connecting? That's exactly what happened when I was studying how hospitals are using Digital Twins for patient care. Here's what's keeping me up at night (literally, my research notes are all over my desk 😅): I've been obsessing over how we could use Digital Twins to actually predict patient outcomes. Not just the fancy tech stuff, but real, practical applications that could help doctors make better decisions. The fascinating part? It's like having a virtual copy of a patient that lets doctors test different treatments before trying them in real life. Mind-blowing, right? What really got me excited: Watching how surgical teams are using this to practice complex procedures Seeing how it helps predict how patients might react to different medications. Understanding how it could spot health issues before they become serious But here's the thing that's really bugging me (fellow researchers, help me out here!): How do we make sure these Digital Twins actually represent real patients accurately? There's this huge challenge with getting clean, reliable data that truly reflects each patient's unique characteristics. Currently pulling my hair out trying to figure out: How to make these models work in real-time (because patients don't wait!) Ways to validate if our predictions are actually reliable Making sure doctors can actually use this technology easily. Would love to hear from: 📱 Anyone working with patient monitoring systems 🏥 Healthcare professionals who've seen Digital Twins in action 🔬 Fellow researchers struggling with similar questions!! P.S. If anyone's attended recent conferences or workshops on this topic, please share your insights! Still kicking myself for missing the last healthcare tech symposium 🤦♂️ #HealthcareInnovation #ResearchLife #MedicalTechnology #StudentResearcher #HealthTech #Nxtwave

Revolutionizing healthcare with the digital key! Our world is rapidly embracing digital transformation, and the healthcare industry is no exception. Leveraging digital health has the potential to unlock Universal Healthcare Coverage, a goal we all strive to achieve. Consider telemedicine. During the pandemic, it was the digital bridge connecting patients and doctors - eliminating geographical barriers and ensuring essential medical care. It's a glimpse of what future healthcare could look like on a global scale. But the journey doesn't stop there. Think about AI and machine learning - their power to anticipate health crises, assist in diagnosis, and customize treatments is groundbreaking. Yet, this digital health revolution doesn't come without challenges. Data privacy, accessibility, and bridging the digital divide are some of the obstacles we'll have to address head-on. This is our moonshot moment. It's a journey that requires collaboration, innovation, and dedication. So, have you thought about how you can contribute to this digital health revolution? Are you ready to be part of this mission to unlock Universal Healthcare Coverage globally? Let's come together to make this vision a reality. Share your thoughts and join the conversation. #UHC #SDG3 #PHC #DigitalHealth
