Our career is like a metro station. there are both elevators and escalators at a metro station. 🚉. We never know what we really want to take and what we would get. we just want to get onboard a platform way up to catch a train. the metro train doors are what we yearn for eventually. the end goal in life is to never enter a metro station some day!! that's true about career as well. who is so enthusiastic about making a career if there is no money linked to it? Also don't go to the Civil Court Interchange Metro station if not required. It is more of a labyrinth to know which train to catch and which not to!! a complex career record would be easier to understand for a hr than the civil court metro station. Also your peers are just like the ones who are reading this LinkedIn post. they want to know what you have done throughout your career. But they just glance through it once and they forget about it while one interviews you. you have to tell everything again in the same order to every person in every round. in that case, after the interview take a ride towards civil court metro station, interchange to swargate go there and come back home. that would help you soothe the agony some way. life is hard and so is the civil court metro station. I don't know what to title this write up as. Don't copy it. It won't make your career!!!!! #comedy #jobs #jobsearch #standupcomedy #humour #careers #metrostation #abhibatao

A recent Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News article highlights the severe shortage of surveyors in Australia, particularly in regional areas. READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE: https://lnkd.in/gT4rrKmB The piece features Dale Adamson, a surveyor who relocated to Cloncurry, Queensland, with aspirations of contributing to the region's development. Despite his efforts, Mr. Adamson has struggled to fill vacancies, even after offering substantial salaries and seeking international talent. His attempts to secure skilled workers through the subclass 400 short-stay specialist visa were denied, leaving his business's future in jeopardy. Our research reports a national shortfall of approximately 2,000 surveyors, a gap expected to widen. This shortage poses significant challenges to infrastructure projects and regional growth. LEARN MORE HERE: https://lnkd.in/gPMCeMux The article underscores the urgent need for policy reforms to address these critical skill shortages and support businesses like Mr. Adamson's. We will continue to advocate to the government to ensure surveyors remain on the Skills Priority List.
