From humble beginnings, our dedicated team has evolved this platform into a powerful and essential tool for naval forces worldwide 🌐 📖 To commemorate this occasion, we look back at a pivotal moment in 1999 when our team, in collaboration with other Danish companies, secured approval to deliver the next generation of C2 systems for the Danish Navy. This effort led to the development of the system for the ABSALON class ships, now known as frigates. As we mark this milestone, we're reminded that innovation is a continuous journey. Introducing the C-Dome| Naval version of the Iron Dome last night it made its first operational interception in the Gulf of Eilat, proving its capability to protect Israel's economic waters from advanced threats. The C-Dome is installed on Sa'ar 6-class corvettes of the Israel Navy and integrated into the national aerial defense array, which includes the "Iron Dome", "David's Sling," "Arrow 2," and "Arrow 3" systems. 🌐 ARCTIC CIRCLE -- Forces from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, Canada, Denmark, Norway, and the United Kingdom recently concluded high-impact training throughout the pan-Arctic region; a vast area stretching from Alaska all the way across Canada and into Greenland. Arctic Edge 24, a U.S. Northern Command exercise, emphasized integration and Joint Force tactical effectiveness in a variety of chilly scenarios such as: diving, helicopter fast roping, swift insertions, snow mobile tactics, long-range endurance-building movement -- all culminating in the Joint Force responding to a fast-attack submarine event. 🔥 This training epitomizes the nation’s unwavering commitment to maintain an enhanced presence, strengthen cooperative partnerships, and build a more-capable Arctic maritime force. 🌊 Capt. The Yemeni Houthi anti-government forces have been making significant advancements in missile technology. Currently, they are equipped with the five types of sea-launched and air-launched anti-ship missiles listed above. Apart from their resemblance in appearance to China’s YJ-82/83, C802/803, C704, and the CH-92 missiles, there are no other notable similarities. The professional capabilities of the Yemeni anti-government forces in operating in the Red Sea pose a serious threat to the U.S. Navy.

Eighty years ago, the mission of the military forces on D-Day was to preserve the republic and to set free a suffering humanity. Today that mission remains. America is counting on Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) to safely deliver modernized attack submarines on time, with Portsmouth-quality, to deter aggression, defend national security interests and preserve our way of life. Every day the men and women of PNSY personify the importance of this mission and the significant role they play in the defense of this nation. PNSY has a responsibility to the Navy and the country to achieve the highest standards possible. Submarines operate in uncertain, complex, and rapidly changing environments. It takes a skilled and empowered workforce, with the right attitude and determination, to execute submarine maintenance to the exacting standards that ensures Sailors can safely accomplish their mission below the sea. #DDAY80
