November is Rural Health Month ❤️🩹 Rural Health Month is an annual celebration held every November, dedicated to rural health professionals. This month-long program features key events such as the National Rural and Remote Health Awards, and the Rural GPs Conference, along with many other educational and networking opportunities designed for rural health professionals The National Rural & Remote Health Awards 2024 will be held tonight, on Ngunnawal Country, at the National Press Club. The awards celebrate the inspirational stories found at the heart of rural and remote health, whilst helping to acknowledge and celebrate the award finalists' dedication and commitment to keeping our rural and remote communities healthy. According to the WHO Council on the Economics of Health for All, at least 140 countries recognize health as a human right in their constitution. Yet countries are not passing and putting into practice laws to ensure their populations are entitled to access health services.
