Morning leadership tip for today. Make sure you explain the purpose behind your pivot. And the reason I say that is because when you're leading A-Team, when you're leading a family, when you're, if it doesn't, regardless of size of the team, if it's professional, if it's personal, and like I said, even if it's in your family, if you make a pivot, if you shift suddenly and quickly from what you have normally been doing, you need to explain the purpose behind it so you don't create panic and, and you know, and, and create like a reaction that is not something that you desire. You know, use a personal example, anyone who follows me knows I love sneakers, right? Like that it's my guilty pleasure. I'm an 80s baby, right? Like they keep releasing all the shoes from the late 80s and the early 90s that I couldn't afford when I was in high school. So I've been buying them all right. So I buy a lot of sneakers, but I have a budget. I give myself an allowance and then I, you know, I make extra money on the side. And so I don't actually touch any of the money like from my salary or my income. It's just my allowance and then additional money that I make from consulting or book sales or whatever that I used to buy sneakers. So since. That transition from full time employment in April, I basically committed to say like, hey, I'm not buying any more sneakers until I have another full time job or until my income from consulting and book sales or whatever replaces the income that I have. That was in my mind. All my wife heard is Roy's not buying sneakers so we broke and it's time for Great Depression level budget. So make sure everybody understands the purpose behind your pivot so you're in alignment.
