"Here’s the empowering truth: at the heart of hiring and recruiting lies the irreplaceable human experience. Creativity, empathy, and resilience set you apart in ways that machines cannot replicate. As you navigate the complexities of AI-driven hiring and recruitment, recognize that your distinctly human traits are valuable and indispensable to any workplace. In this tech-centric age, employers in every industry seek candidates who offer more than mere qualifications; they want candidates who radiate depth, character, and the ability to forge authentic connections." Are you ready to go on this journey with me? Stay tuned. #humanpride
So poignant! Somehow we have dehumanized a function that actually requires human connection creating endless turmoil for people already undergoing the emotional stress of trying to find a job!! How can we possibly believe this is a better solution? Looking forward to your thoughts on how one might navigate the endless black hole. Something definitely needs to change and AI algorithms are not the solution to every problem.
AI is a tool. People need to realize that it is technology, and we need to use it for our benefit, but you cannot let it demean your own value.
💡Doesn’t it all start with a human thought or need? You, the human, are the power that drives AI! Not the other way around! Let’s all steer away from using AI as a crutch or an excuse not to tap into what makes us all human - empathy, respect, and simply giving a care! 👊
Very well said.
Love this message. Algorithms can't replicate it nor can they adequately assess these qualities! I really believe we need to revamp how HR teams use applicant tracking systems.
so important to know AI & work with it! no doubt it can exclude someone from opportunities but once you crack open that door, ‘you’ can become unstoppable
Absolutely agree—human traits like creativity and empathy are what truly make a difference in the workplace, no AI can replace that. Ron Thurston

1moI've read this twice, once putting myself in recruiter shoes, then again trying to put myself in candidate shoes. It feels right for both. 😊 But was it written specifically for one?
