Truly privileged to host the 1st edition of Games for Change India Festival (Oct 14-16,2024) in collaboration with Games for Change and UNESCO MGIEP.I had the honour of opening the fest ,moderating the session “Games for Learning and Assessment” and being the panelist for games in the policy space. Also introduced my research initiative “DESI” '(Design for Equity, Sustainability and Inclusion)-proposed to be set up this year at RUBIKA Pune,Maharashtra State Skills University and Universal Ai University . Thank you Susanna Pollack and Obijiofor Aginam, PhD for bringing this wonderful Fest to India. A big shout out to Nandini Chatterjee Singh and Archana Chaudhary to make this happen. We really missed your presence. Thanks Shreya Tiwari, Anurag Deep, PhD and Partha Konwar for all your contributions. Team RUBIKA (Staffs and students) you were at your best.Thanks so much for putting all your efforts and making the event a grand success . The Fest had some amazing discussions including Games for learning and assessment,Games for civic and social transformation, Games for mental health and wellbeing and Games in the policy space.
