Games for Change held its first-ever Games for Change India Festival in collaboration with UNESCO MGIEP and RUBIKA Pune on 15th – 16th October. We couldn’t have been prouder to be the host of the first Indian edition of the festival. The students of Rubika Pune made a splash at the Game Jam/Hackathon, which was held in the lead-up of the Games for Change Festival. This competition challenged the participants to create games promoting social impact and media literacy. Our talented students impressed the judges with their creativity and technical skills, showcasing the power of games to address critical issues like hate speech and fake news. They presented two amazing digital games, "Roots of Rebellion" and "The Green Life," which was highly appreciated by one and all. The students even showcased their innovative board games and created an Escape Room, demonstrating their diverse game design talents. A great initiative by Games4Change for conceptualizing this event and a big thank you to our students who have worked tirelessly for months to make this possible. You have made us proud! #gamesforchangefestival #gamesforchange2024 #rubikaindia #rootsofrebellion #TheGreenLife #rubikaanimation #creativeinspiration #student #GameJam #unescomgiep #gamesforchange #boardgames #gamedesign #videogames #rubika
