𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 (#𝐑𝐌𝐏) 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬: ⚒ Most data comes from exploratory and appraisal wells, and there is a high level of uncertainty. ✒ As a result, it is crucial to have a detailed data acquisition plan as part of the initial #reservoir #management plan. 🔊 This plan should encompass obtaining static data from core, log, MDT/RST, and #fluid samples, along with a time-bound analysis plan to reduce reservoir and field #uncertainties and mitigate risks during the execution of the development plan. 📢 Additionally, dynamic data collection such as pressure build-up (PBU), regular well tests, production logging tool (PLT), static gradient survey (SGS), flowing gradient survey (FGS), and more should be included. 🔔 The plan should also outline the key data to be acquired for surface facilities and well completions to enable ongoing optimisation in performance and cost. 💡 For instance, it should specify actions like "conduct PBU within 3 months of drilling after production stabilisation in new wells" and "perform MDT/RFT at all targeted green reservoirs." #fdp #fielddevelopment #𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 #reservoirengineering #oil #oilandgas #petroleum #petroleumengineering #production #ffs

Flowing Material Balance (FMB) Tool: The Flowing Material Balance (FMB) is an analytical method that allows reservoir engineers to estimate key reservoir parameters without requiring well shut-in. By analyzing production data, including only oil rates (qo) and flowing wellhead pressure (FWHP) or flowing bottom hole pressure (FBHP), engineers can approximate: -- Original Oil-in-Place (OOIP): The total volume of oil initially present in the reservoir. -- Average Reservoir Pressure (Pavg): The average pressure within the reservoir. -- Permeability (K). -- Drainage Area (A): The area of the reservoir that contributes to production from a well. -- Oil Recovery Factor (RF): The proportion of the OOIP that can be recovered. New Edition of Directive 083 Released   On November 20, 2024, a new edition of Directive 083: Hydraulic Fracturing – Subsurface Integrity was released. Key updates include:   ·      Section 3.4 update: Improved clarity on the notification and engagement process between subject well licensees and at-risk well licensees. ·      Administrative Improvements: Minor revisions and additional information to enhance clarity. The FAQ document (October 2023) has been removed from the landing page, with relevant content now incorporated into the updated directive.
