Clay’s launching a hackathon at INBOUND, and it’s genius Hackathons are the perfect community-led growth events 1. Gets power product users building dope shit in your product for a carrot of sorts (money and/or fame work well) and 2. Gets these folks sharing their creations with the world and clay sharing on their behalf which 3. Creates buzz and Acquires new users who see how dope a product this is / activates folks that are free users that didn’t really start using it and ramps up engagement of current users that needed some help. 4. Which in turn amps up more people to build cool shit and prep for the next one / get involved in the ecosystem etc Community-led growth FTW Excited to interview their co founder Varun at RevCon. We’ve come a long way. It started as a solo start-up and a gut feeling. Then grew into a trio, eventually expanding to a group of eight. Our journey has taken us from TKSS to Comando Club and to launching MKK early this year. Then there's our annual Choobub Day, this year is our fourth. We're now gearing up for our first major event, #MKKFest, this November 2nd, an exciting milestone. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. We’ve faced our fair share of challenges, often hidden behind jokes and laughter. There were times when we were exhausted, frustrated, and lost. While we communicate about work, talking about our daily lives is equally important. Sometimes, it’s necessary to step away from work and truly connect with one another. Mixing work with personal life isn’t always easy, but it’s been a game-changer for us. Being present, understanding, listening, and chatting about more than just deadlines. Staying connected helps us ride the waves together even when things get tough. Sharing a meal (and showing off bulu kaki) is something I hold dearly; it's a simple yet powerful way to connect beyond work. How do you keep people together?
