From the foundation, which had to be built deep into the desert ground, to the intricate glass and steel that define its exterior, each part of the Burj Khalifa speaks to the precision and innovation behind it.
It also makes me wonder how the construction of such monumental buildings compares to projects closer to home, like those in England. While we have our own architectural wonders, such as the Shard or the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), the scale, complexity, and technology behind a project like the Burj Khalifa is on an entirely different level.
