Today Adam Barns and I had the privilege of demonstrating the power of Tennant’s automated cleaning solutions to a customer in need of efficiency and innovation. Watching the T16AMR, our latest robotic scrubber dryer, work seamlessly alongside its “little brother,” the brand-new X4 ROVR, was truly a highlight. An early start and 9,500 steps later, it was all worth it to see these machines in action, showcasing how automation can revolutionize cleaning. You might be wondering 🤔 why the Schenck Consulting team plays with Playmobil?        Today, our expert Steven Böhling will show you how our Spin Testing System works - and therefore he is using a Playmobil toy.     As you can see with the toy carousel, the people are pushed outwards by centrifugal force. Every rotating part in a mechanical system shows the same reaction. The higher the speed, the more the material of the rotor expands, and its diameter increases. We call this phenomenon dynamic expansion. With our patented spin testing system, we are able to measure the expansion at any angular position of the rotor with an accuracy in the single-digit micrometer range up to the rated speed and even beyond.     But why is it important for you to know the expansion of your rotor?    In addition to ever faster speeds, the aim is to keep the gap between the rotor and its housing as small as possible. The danger here is that if the rotor touches the housing due to the expansion, this can lead to complete destruction. 📢Flexible operation for #Unimog implement carriers! Flexible operation was a requirement for the new operating system of the Unimog implement carrier from Mercedes-Benz Unimog. With our UNI-TOUCH control panel, we were able to successfully implement this requirement.   A central component of the operating system is #JOYSCAPE - our joystick platform. 🕹️LINEAR and MULTI #joysticks are used. The LINEAR joystick has capacitive finger recognition in the grip area. The single-axis joystick control makes operation intuitive and increases reaction speed.   The MULTI joystick can be removed and repositioned for flexible use.
